GASRE assisted an end user by parts condition review at site and by providing consultancy to source emergency replacement parts.
The unit was shut down for an extended combustion inspection where transition pieces and S1N was planned to be replaced. GASRE was asked to review the condition and type of removed parts for repairability. During the visit GASRE noted that there are additional parts requiring immediate replacement for safe and reliable operation. The work extended to HGPI. GASRE initiated a fast Project to source suitable replacement parts. Focus of the work was to find cost efficient solution, looking for new and also used parts. The used parts compatibility and repair reports had to be reviewed in detail to secure safe operation for the following operating period.
The replacement parts were received at site within the duration of the HGPI causing no additional delays to the project schedule.
